BJP government will fall after June 1 voting, claims Abhishek Banerjee
As part of its efforts to commemorate Bangla Day and reinforce the cultural identity of the state, the West Bengal government is in the process of creating a 'State Song.' Inspired by the concept of the national anthem, several songs have been shortlisted for this significant role. A dedicated committee will be convened to make the final selection, culminating in the official 'State Song' for West Bengal.
Numerous Indian states, including Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Odisha, and Tamil Nadu, have already embraced the idea of having their own state songs. In West Bengal, the song "Aami Bhalo Bashi Banglar Mati," composed by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee herself, has gained popularity in various events. It is anticipated that this song will be chosen to serve as the official state anthem, embodying the pride and cultural richness of Bengal.
